Dr Ana Manzano is an applied social scientist working mostly with healthcare disciplines. She was a founding member of the RealismLeeds network and she is the deputy director of the new Centre for Transdisciplinary Methodologies at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom).
She has written multiple publications and materials to advance realist methodology and she is part of the pioneering international research group actively working to develop quality standards in the application of realist methodologies into research practices.
